creamy tomato basil soup
“There's nothing like a warm bowl of tomato and basil soup to bring comfort on a cold, rainy day.
the perfect comfort dish to brighten up even the chilliest of days.
I'm a huge fan of soup, especially tomato soup.
I have specific preferences for it - mainly creamy to balance out the acidity of the tomatoes. Whenever the weather gets colder, specifically below 50° degrees, I always turn to this recipe for comfort.
My favorite way to have it is with a grilled cheese sandwich made with three types of cheese on sourdough bread. However, this soup is delicious enough to eat by itself. It's easy to make and doesn't require much preparation.
